Day Trip to the Zoo

I’ve been trying to ballot for a weekend corporate pass to the Zoo & I’ve finally gotten it! Just in time, for an early 1st Anniversary outing with Dear.

As usual, I’ll be waiting for my BF at BL Mrt Platform before travelling down to the Zoo together. Upon reaching CCK Bus Interchange, I took out our Breakfast and we started munching away while waiting for the Bus.

Nothing fanciful! Just bread with Butter, Pork Floss & Cheese. Dear asked what’s in the bread, and I told him it is just pork floss & cheese. Dear gave me a very shocked face because pork floss doesn’t register in his mind, instead he visualised candy floss instead. LOL! He was relieved after being told that it is something similar to the bread sold in Bread Talk. *Gosh! This shows how “domesticated” my BF is 😛

Hopped onto the bus & shortly after, we reached the Singapore Zoo! Walked around looking at animals & their habitats. Went for a few animal shows (Sea Lion, Elephant & Tropical Animals) and some open-feeding sessions.




As it was already past Lunch Time and we are still roaming around in the Zoo. I decided to present the freshly baked cookies to BF.

We ate it to fill our stomach temporarily before lunch. As I’m already having a sore throat and was feeling really dehydrated, so I dare not eat much of the cookies.

After all the animal shows, we settled down at the cafe within the Zoo and Dear had his Lunch there. He had Fish & Chips and they were really disappointing that he frowned throughout his Lunch.

More walkabout after Lunch to complete our tour in the Zoo. Cooled down at their souvenir shop before heading back to CCK. Walked around Lot 1 for awhile and made our way back to JP.

Did our Shopping at JP and our Butts landed in Toast Box for the Dinner.
